KABOOM WALTZ is an online multiplayer party game about passing a bomb with a hidden countdown.

Everyone sees the timer once at the start. Then it disappears.

Pass the bomb, shoot it to cut time, earn coins, and use items to mess with the countdown.

Be the last player or team alive. 💀

Stop the countdown for a short time, often saving you at the last possible second.

Reverse the passing direction.

🔫 Machine Gun / Shotgun / Sniper / Repair Gun

Special weapons that directly change the bomb timer.

Machine Gun: -1 second per hit

Shotgun: -3 seconds per hit

Sniper: -5 seconds per hit

Repair Gun: +3 seconds per hit

⏱️ ABOUT THE GAME

You wake up tied to a chair at a table full of strangers.

Nobody can leave. Nobody knows why they are here.

Then the bomb starts ticking.

Everyone gets one look at the timer before it disappears. From that point on, all you can do is count, bluff, panic, and make sure the bomb ends up in someone else's hands.

💰 GREED PAYS

Holding the bomb earns money.

The longer you keep it, the more you can make (max). Pass it safely to cash out.

🔫 SHOOT THE BOMB, STEAL THE POT

When someone else is holding the bomb, shoot it!!!

Each hit cuts time from the hidden countdown and steals part of the money they have built up.

The longer someone gets greedy with the bomb, the more there is for everyone else to steal.

And with items that freeze, repair, or reveal the timer, nobody can fully trust the count.

💣 PASS IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT

The bomb moves around the table from player to player.

Time your catch for a Perfect Pass and send it flying back out faster.

Reverse the direction, choose your target, block an incoming bomb, or pull one straight out of the air.

💥 MID-AIR EXPLOSIONS

If a bomb reaches zero while flying through the air, the closest surviving player gets blown up.

So even getting rid of the bomb at the last second does not always mean you are safe.

👻 DYING DOESN'T GET YOU OUT

Exploded players return as ghosts.

Ghosts know exactly how much time is left.

They can still shoot, use items, and make life worse for everyone who survived.

Customize each match before the waltz begins.

Choose any combination of 30s / 60s / 90s / 120s.

One of the selected timers is picked randomly each round.

🤝 Team Mode

Switch between Free For All and Team Battle.

💣 Double Bomb

Put two live bombs into play at the same time.

👁️ Public Countdown Mode

Keep the bomb timer visible to everyone, turning the game into a battle of precise timing and last-second plays.

Timer Goggles are removed, and the E.M.P Gun joins the item pool instead.

KABOOM WALTZ uses Photon Fusion 2 for online multiplayer.

This jam build is currently using Photon Fusion's free usage limit, so only 20 players can be playing online at the same time.
